Chanel Caljean is an operations and community relations professional serving as First Ascent Biomedical’s connection point between the company’s new Erie lab and Northwest Pennsylvania. She began her career in the Los Angeles service industry before leading service operations for a luxury smart home company in Philadelphia, where she built the department’s first comprehensive invoicing and documentation process, driving a 12% increase in sales and recovering more than $1.5 million in unbilled revenue.
She later founded Chain Reaction Consulting Co., working alongside entrepreneurs across industries to bring structure to ambiguous problems and build workflows organizations can sustain as they grow. At First Ascent Biomedical, she applies that same operational discipline to a different kind of challenge: establishing trust and connection between the company and the Erie community as First Ascent expands its footprint there.
