Bill Seibel has spent his career building companies from the ground up. After earning an engineering degree from Penn State and an MBA from Carnegie Mellon, he spent 12 years at Air Products before trading corporate stability for the startup world, a decision that took him from general manager of one business unit at McCormack & Dodge to running its engineering division worldwide in under a year. Since then, Bill has served as operating executive for six companies, founder and CEO of seven more, and CEO of five others, including co-founding Mobiquity.
Today, Bill chairs First Ascent Biomedical’s Advisory Board and leads Gumball, a consulting firm that has helped more than 40 startups launch and scale, with 20 successful exits to date. He is also Chairman and CEO of Dwel, a company focused on helping older adults live safely and independently at home. Bill has mentored more than 100 people who have gone on to become CEOs themselves, and is the author of Press Go! Lessons Earned by a Serial Entrepreneur. He brings that full arc, from first idea to scaled, thriving company, to First Ascent’s growth strategy.
